Harrington Flowers Shoot | LaBelle Winery, Bedford, NH

Loved photographing this gorgeous floral chandelier for the fabulous people over at Harrington Flowers.  The setting was perfect....the grand room at the LaBelle Winery gave this piece a show stopping setting.  The high ceilings, beams and open airy feel really showcased how perfect this location is for something like this.  This piece would work great for a head table or center piece for a reception hall.  When sitting underneath...you feel like you are swept away into an english floral garden.  If interested in renting this for your wedding, contact Harrington Flowers for more information.

Castle Bridal Shoot - Amanda - April, 2017

On a gorgeous day in April with temps getting up into the mid- 70s, it was the perfect day to venture out with our gorgeous bridal model Amanda and do a Bridal Photo Shoot.  The location was also pretty incredible....Bancroft Castle located on the property of Gibbet Hill in Groton, MA is amazing. This skeleton Castle has beautiful stone work, towers and all sorts of nooks and crannies throughout. We took advantage of it and here is a few sneak peeks of the photos I got with many more to come.  Shout out to Katherine MacDonald of KMac Beauty for the amazing makeup and Jessica Tetreault from Headquarters Hair Salon for the hair.  Stay tuned for updates, as there were so many great shots to feature!

Winter Bride Style Shoot | January 2016

Me and a few of my favorite vendors in the wedding industry decided to get together to do a bridal style shoot and it was just epic!  On a very cold January day, with just a few days to pull it all together, we all put our talents together and pulled one the most beautiful, vintage themed, winter bridal shoots I've done to date!  I had ideas in my head as to how I wanted the shoot to look and it was executed exactly how I saw it.  Our model looked so adorable in her fuzzy, chunky, cream colored scarf, mittens, special edition white bean boots from L.L. Bean,  boot warmers and pinkish toned tulle skirt!  Winter weddings are not that popular because of how stormy it can get, however, the light at that time of the year and all the texture and tones proves winter can be just gorgeous for a wedding and has a look and feel all it's own!  We all love a beautiful summer day but right now I'm loving this winter themed shoot and hope to see more brides consider snuggling up to the idea. I could see this look working well at a barn or a cozy Inn up in Vermont with roaring fireplaces and throw in a horse drawn buggy for winter sled rides and talk about creating something unique!

Now onto the shoot itself and the wonderful folks involved.

Hair and makeup:
Katherine MacDonald -KMac Beauty (www.kmacbeauty.com).

Here is what she had to see about the shoot and how she came to the look she created..."I wanted to keep the makeup clean and crisp for this winter shoot.  I knew we wanted an organic woodland look, so I kept the color palette  on the neutral side.  I used colors such as  eggshell,  browns,  bronze and pink tones for the brides eyes.  Her cheeks I used a pale pink to flush them a bit as if she was touched by the cool winter air.  I kept her lips soft using a bright and pale pink mixed together and then finished them with a bit of a pearl frost.  For the hair, I went with a simple, messy braid to focus on the head piece."

Flowers:
Mary Trombley - Lotus Floral Designs - www.lotusfloraldesigns.com

"For the flowers I chose colors & texture that remind me of Winter-soft whites, frosty silver, warm chocolate & rich Merlot.

A very organic look & feel was created by using different elements
like the leather handle wrap, cotton branches, Winter greens &
succulents.

I also loved the idea of using Peonies simple because they are a Springflower & are a promise of the future, like the vows between the Bride & Groom."

My goal for this shoot was all about natural light, tone and texture.  I love the warm, cream colors in her scarf, top and mittens.  The light tulle skirt also has a very airy feel to it and the color was perfect.  I love the clean makeup and simple braided hair.  The flowers also have a very elegant but unique look to them.  So many cool types of flowers came together so nicely. So in love with how this entire style shoot came out and love working with such a great team of other passionate and talented ladies who not only love what they do but do it so well!

Check out some of the photos from the shoot!

Melissa & Dave Vintage Backyard Wedding | 19 September 2015

When I met with Melissa & Dave, I knew this wedding meant everything to them and they spent a great deal of time on all the details.  What I didn't know, is how amazing it would actually turn out to be.  It was a small backyard wedding at their home in Bennington, NH and their home was an adorable place, on the lake and it had so many cool things about it I was going crazy making sure to document and photograph every bit of it.  The weather was just perfect and the whole event was so quaint and romantic, it was very refreshing to see such a nice wedding come together for such a great couple.

Their home had it all....a bubbling brook, a dock with boats tied up, a view to die for, a beautiful chandelier hanging from the tree, a homemade dance floor along the lake, a fire pit and a  tent with farm tables for their guests to dine at.   They also arranged a beautiful area with vintage style furniture for those long talks with family and friends.  They also setup a vintage ladder with comfy blankets to use when the sun went down and the fire got going.

Another show stopper was the table setting and her flowers!  I have listed all her vendors below and it was just a gorgeous wedding.  I'm so honored to have been a part of it and enjoyed spending this wonderful evening with them.  Congratulations Melissa & Dave...your home was lovely, your wedding was stunning, your love real and all your hard work shined through.
